Dr. Miguel Angel Dahbar was born in the city of Cordoba, Argentina and achieved his medical and surgical degree from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, National University of Cordoba. He was awarded the "Doctor in Medicine and Surgery,” the highest degree awarded by the National University of Cordoba in 1986 based in his thesis entitled: "Los Psicotropicos anfetaminicos y la Ley de Psicotropicos 19.303 / 71," (Psychotropic amphetamine drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law 19,303 / 71) which was rated very highly.
Dr. Dahbar was awarded the title of Master in Drug Addiction by the National University of Cordoba in 2003, for his thesis described as outstanding and entitled: "Analysis of production, distribution and consumption of coca in the Republica Argentina".
Dr. Dahbar currently serves as the Director of the Masters in Drug Addiction program, Faculty of Medical Sciences, National University of Cordoba. He is also Professor Emeritus at the Catholic University of Cordoba, a title awarded in 2005.
He has also been recognized by the Academy of Medicine in Cordoba, Argentina for his work related to drug addiction. Dr. Dahbar also serves as Consulting Professor for the National University of Cordoba.
